I have a friend who has been raising vegetables biodynamically for over 10
years. He is working on a producer grant for USDA's SARE program. What he
is interested in is analyzing some of his vegetables, esp. onions, for
nutrient content and the cancer fighting compounds and comparing those
levels with conventionally grown commercial vegetables.
So I have several questions:
1. Some suggestions on compounds to analyze for.
2. Does anyone out there have analytical capability and willingness to run
the tests?
3. What is a cost per analysis you would have to charge?
4. Anyone have references of similar published work?
His operation is located in South Central Texas (Near Texas A&M Univ).
You can e-mail me directly and I will get the info to him.
Thanks,
Richard
