Does anybody have infomation re the above. Protection in the context of human

settlement patterns (urban expansion) rather than land care/degradation. In
Perth and country regional centres horticultural properties on highly
productive agricultural land are being subdivided for residential or small
rural lots. These properties are being relocated to poorer sandy soils,
leading to significant infrastructure and environmental cost. Horticultural
exports in to Asia increased 150%, will we have the productive capacity to
sustainably service this demand ?

Infomation on policy, figures, regulation, legislation or examples in
Australia or elswhere would greatly be appreciated
