VOLUNTEERS IN OVERSEAS COOPERATIVE ASSISTANCE (VOCA)

Greetings to members of the list. I am the Regional Recruiter for
an international development firm, Volunteers in Overseas Coop-
erative Assistance (VOCA). I am seeking individuals who would
like to volunteer their time and knowledge for international
projects.

VOCA, is a private, nonprofit organization, founded in 1970 as
the international voluntary arm of the US cooperative community.

We are currently seeking volunteers with skills and expertise in
the following fields:

* Business and cooperative development and management
* Livestock management
* Farm management
* Commodity processing
* Agricultural credit, finance
* Plant production, protection
* Food processing
* Agricultural extension
* Financial management
* Marketing, distribution
* Sustainable agriculture
* Conservation
* Forestry
* Natural resource management
* Vegetable and fruit production
etc.....

All project related costs are covered by VOCA! That includes
passport, shots, flights, housing, food and informational materi-
als. (however, we do not pay a wage or fee to our volunteers)

A VOCA assignment is anywhere from two to twelve weeks in length,
average is four weeks.
