Two places to go for more info on cookstoves for developing countries:
Solar Cooking International in Sacramento, CA (Sorry I don't have
number onme); they produce a newsletter on solar cooking around the
world, and will hold a conference next January on topic. Then, in
Nepal, Intermediate Technology recently produced a booklet, "Cook
Electric: The Ghandruk Experience" on low-wattage electric cookers
powered by a microhydro project (small scale, environmentally OK dam)
in Nepal. IT's address is P.O. Box 2325, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Nepal;
FAX: ++977-1-220161. DOn't know how much the booklet costs.
