I read a message earlier from someone inquiring about a statement by Earl
Butz to "plant fencerow to fencerow". In an article by Judy Soule et al,
this quotation is attributed to Butz and cited; Wessel, J. 1983. Trading
the Future, Institute for Food and Development Policy, Third World
Publication, England. Sorry no page number... I hope this gets to the
person inquiring and is of some help.
