My name is Mikhail. I work as an economist for a large Russian poultry
and trade company (Lenptitseprom Co.Ltd). We are in St.-Petersburg (Russia).
Now I am in need of some information concerning foreign agrobusiness. It
would be nice to set relations with my colleagues from other companies. We
would change business ideas, experience, useful information and so on. Maybe
one day we could visit each over.
Any information about state and private agricultural business programs in
your countries is needed too.

My name is Mikhail Abakumov.
I am working as the leading economist for the large Russian poultry company Lenptitseprom Co.Ltd.
My country is changing very quickly at the moment. Every day we meet the new events, aspects in our business.
After finishing the St.-Petersburg University (two years ago) I constantly feel need in new knowledges conserning agribusiness. I also need some practical knowledges concerning our business.
The general problem I work with here is the financial management in agribusiness. My special interest is 'the information provision of the financial management'. (It's the theme of my Master dissertation here. I hope to obtain Master degree in this theme.) We try to use new information technologies (like global computer nets) to find for new (foreign) trade partners, to find for information to make financial decisions and so on. To be honest we are not very successful at the moment. It's the new things for my country. There are only a few good specialists here. We need real knowleges concerning such things.
I would be glad to change information with foreign specialists via e-mail, snail mail, fax and so on. I could send concrete questions and send any information concerning business in Russia that you need. I hope it would be interbeneficial change.
Also I would be happy to make one day business training to Europe or USA to observe business there. I am sure it would be extremely interesting to look at it. Unfortunately it seems to be impossible at the moment because of the financial and organization problems.
So my questions are: can I and how can I participate in any program that would fulfill my purposes? Are there any appropriate exchange programs anywhere?
