In the February 1995 Agricultural Research magazine there is
an article about the use of trout farm wastewater to grow
strawberries. Persons to get in touch with are D. Michael
Glenn and Fumiomi Takeda at the USDA-ARS Appalachian Fruit
Research Sation, 45 Wiltshire Rd, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
Phone (304) 725-3451. It seems to me that I remember the
famous ice cream producers Ben and Jerry's in Burlington, VT
having some type of unique wastewater treatment where it was
used over again.
