I was interested to read the post by Tom Ford (CED Fulton County) asking
for information on snail production. I have myself been seeking
information on escargot production for Washington and have not come up with
anything. One general impression I have is that escargot snails may be
prohibited by certain states because they have the potential to be a
"noxious pest". Can anyone give more information on this.

Anyone responding to Tom's request for information, please do post it to
the list - I would be interested in the information too.
