I'd like to add one resource to your list, Paul. The New Crops Newsletter,
published by the Purdue University Horticulture Department, often has
articles on herbs and medicinal plants. The sponsor a new crops symposium
every three years or so (one is coming up this October, I believe), which
always involves a session or two on herbs and medicinals. The proceedings
of the first two symposia have been published and may be a good source of
the information you are looking for. Contact
