Gettysburg College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant
professor position in Environmental Studies, beginning August, 1996.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in environmental studies or a related field,
with a focus on resource management and environmental policy, and ability
to teach introductory and upper-level environmental studies courses.
Commitment to interdisciplinary teaching in the liberal arts tradition and
to research involving students is essential. Gettysburg College is a
highly selective liberal arts college located in beautiful and historic
southern Pennsylvania, close to policy-making agencies in Harrisburg,
Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington. The College is an equal
