question regarding biodynamics

what is it? This is as good a place as any for me to ask for some input
regarding what it is exactly that constiutes "biodynamic farming." I am
told by some that biodynamic farming involves cycled inputs and outputs,
blah blah. The question I suppose is at what level? Single farm?
community? Depends on the system? (The catchall answer for anything in
sustainable agriculture). Also, are the inputs necessarily generally
non-chemical, such as we might associate with organic growing? In other
words, if a cow were injected with hormones and antibiotics, and fed
malathion-sprayed alfalfa, even if its manure went straight back onto the
alfalfa field, would that be considered biodynamic farming? I ask because
I really don't know and any feedback would be appreciated. Buzzwords are
busy words, whatever that means. Thanks.
