I have had two vegetable growers inquire if I had any information on the
use of sulfur as a seed treatment or band application to enhance or help
emergence of seed under hot, dry conditions. One said he heard it could
be used as a seed coating for this purpose. This is new to me, but
apparently rumored to be used out west under desert conditions. Any
information, thoughts, or research in this area would be greatly
appreciated.
