I read the message which you posted on SANET and want to reply
to your query about starting another journal in the field of
sustainable agriculture. To be quite honest with you, I very
strongly urge you NOT to start another journal for two very
different reasons.
First, there are a tremendous number of journals and newsletters
already in existence. As a librarian faced with deciding which
ones to subscribe to and of those which ones to archive, I can
assure you that the field does not need another journal.
Unfortunately this is true for just about any subject field you
can name. Libraries like individuals have limited budgets.
