With the help of a planning grant from the Wallace Genetic
Foundation, we're exploring the feasibility of launching a
publication for sustainable farmers. The magazine that we used to
work for, The New Farm, ceased publication last spring, leaving a
huge void. We're committed to filling that void.
Recently, we sent out a short questionnaire to more than 180
sustainable ag groups and other organizations around the country,
asking them about the information needs of their constituents.
Responses to this survey will help us determine the scope of
coverage of the new publication. If your organization did not
receive a questionnaire and would like one, please contact me.
Even if you don't want to complete the two-page questionnaire, I'm
still interested in your thoughts and suggestions about how a new
publication can best meet the needs of sustainable farmers.
