Come to the 1995 PAN North America Regional Conference,
September 17-19, at the Vallombrosa Center, Menlo Park,
California (just south of San Francisco). Learn about current
campaigns to promote sustainable agriculture, make new
contacts, strategize with other activists and find out where
organic agriculture is going in the U.S. and around the
world!

Special Conference Events:

--Keynote Speaker Nicanor Perlas, President of the Center for
Alternative Development Initiatives in the Philippines,
will share the inspiring results of a successful
collaboration of farmer, grassroots and environmental
groups in the Philippines, a coalition which is challenging
chemically-dependent agriculture at local and national
levels. He will also explore lessons for and parallels with
the U.S. situation.
--Dr. Louis Guillette, professor of zoology at University of
Florida, speaking on the effects of endocrine disrupting
contaminants on endangered species, reptiles and other
wildlife. His slides of what's going on in the swamps, and
his riveting presentation of what's at stake for all of us
are not to be missed.
--Nancy Evans, Immediate past president of Breast Cancer
Action, and a breast cancer survivor of four years, will
speak about the links between breast cancer and pesticides
and other toxic substances.
--Panels and workshops lead by experts discussing organic
agriculture, organic cotton production, pesticide reform
across borders, labor perspectives on sustainable
agriculture, integrated pest management, online information
resources and much more!
