Agribusiness Research Associate
agAccess Information Service is currently hiring to expand its staff of
agricultural and agribusiness professionals. agAccess Information
Service is a fast-growing research, information and consulting company
specializing in providing an array of services to agricultural and food
industries. The company specializes in the development of databases,
business plans and marketing research for farmers, food processors,
marketing companies and suppliers of agricultural inputs.
Position:
Agribusiness Research Associate
Commitment:
Full-Time (Part-Time position may be possible)
Job Description:
The position involves the organization, researching and writing of
business plans and marketing studies for the company's clients.
Requirements
Research Skills:
Library, phone and in-person surveys and interviews; discussions with
client management. Facility with spreadsheets and development of
pro-forma financial statements important. Database management and
on-line search skills desired but not required.
Writing Skills:
Clear, concise business writing and presentation essential.
Educational Experience:
MBA or Masters in Agricultural Economics preferred.
Business Experience:
Two to four years of business/management experience, preferably in
marketing, marketing research or finance with agricultural or
food-related company.
Candidates need not have capability or experience with regard to all
requirements. On-the-job training will be available at AIS to otherwise
qualified candidates.
Remuneration:
Commensurate with skill levels and experience.
