EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.
The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association seeks an Executive
Director to administer overall operations, including supervision of staff,
management of on-going programs, direction of legislative and other public
policy initiatives, development of fundraising programs, membership development,
planning, and representation and promotion of the Association. The successful
candidate will have proven experience and competence in communication,
organization, management, and interpersonal relations; self-motivation, combined
with a strong sense for collaborative effort; competence in public relations,
promotion, and fundraising; familiarity with and dedication to MOFGA's mission
and goals; and an understanding of Maine agricultural, environmental, and
socioeconomic issues and institutions.
Full-time position; salary high 20's, low 30's, commensurate with
experience; benefits incl. health ins.;
