I have had a request for information from a person working at an ag.
experimental station in Italy. He would like information on controlling
thrips (a serious problem there) organically in peach orchards. He is
currently testing the efficacy of neem, but it is quite expensive.
Another project underway involves solarization of strawberry fields as an
alternative to methyl bromide.
