Our speakers will be:
Noel McNaughton - an HRM educator from St. Albert, Alberta. Noel will be
speaking on an overview of Holistic Resource Management
Miles Keogh - an HRM educator from Grand Junction, Colorado. Miles has
extensive experience in land management and working with farmers,
ranchers and government agencies in exploring long term solutions to
management problems.
Allan Nation - from Jackson, Mississippi. Allan is the editor of the
Stockman Grass Farmer and will be discussing Finances and planning.
The conference runs from August 9 to 11th, 1995 in Rocky Mountain House,
Alberta, Canada. Rocky Mountain House is located in the Rocky Mountain
foothills about 2.5 hours north of Calgary, Alberta and only 2 hours east
of Banff National Park. The cost is only 80 cheap Canadian dollars (under
$0.73 US) or 150 for a couple. There are discounts for early
registrations. This price includes the above speakers, 2 lunches and a
banquet, a panel of local enviromental activists as well as a panel of local
farmers. There will also be information available so visitors can tour
local farms following the conference as well as a children's program if
that is required.
