To all-
Following is an information resource which I put into the newsletter which I
write called "Sustainable Minnesota". Some of the papers that AURI has put
together may be useful in answering questions about energy use in the food
system.

Agricultural Energy Savings Program
The Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) has released reports
summarizing its findings about on-farm energy use. Examples include, "Tillage
Systems: Evaluating the Alternatives", "Weed Control: The Environment and the
Bottom Line", "Crop Fertility: Managing for Profit, Low Environmental Impact".
