The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy is hosting a 2-
day conference called "Chlorine Science and Strategy." It will
be held in Saint Paul, Minnesota on May 8 and 9, 1995.

The goals of this meeting are to update participants on recent
scientific developments related to chlorine; and to share plans
for activities planned by groups at the local, regional, national,
and international levels. Issues which will be discussed include
health impacts of organochlorine exposure, endocrine
disrupters, pulp and paper, pesticides, chlorinated solvents,
drinking water treatment, industry efforts at chlorine use
reduction, and other key issues.

If you are interested in receiving more information about the
conference, send a message to Jackie Hunt Christensen at
<iatp@iatp.org> You might also be interested in checking out our
new conference on Econet, <haz.chlorine> It currently contains
issues of our monthly publication, CHLORINE MONITOR, and will
soon contain other chlorine-related publications.
