request for info on farm planning

I am initiating a project in Kansas on whole-farm planning, and am also
doing some background reading on case studies. I have two requests:

1. Does anyone know of a published "master list" of agricultural
software that can be used for whole farm planning -- either finanacial or
in terms of natural resources? I am familiar with a couple of models,
e.g. planetor, farmbook, but am looking for something along the lines of
a comparative evaluation of the software that is out there now, and could
be used by farmers or county agents. In the absence of a published
review article, would people simply let me know what their favorite
software is, and what they do with it?

2. I would also like copies of case studies, published by
universities, non-profits, etc. I have copies now of the recent
publication from the Land Stewardship Project, the Kansas Rural Center
publication from 1987, and the Minnesota Decision Case Study Catalog.
I am also familiar with Helene Murray's work, and the articles in the
AJAA. If your organization has published something along these lines
recently, would you please bring it to my attention, or better yet, send
me a copy? Thanks.
