inquiry about ag/environ. institutes

This is an inquiry to all saneters. I am wondering if a database exists
which lists institutes or centers, both private and public, involved in
sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation which work with both
producer and consumer groups. I would like to limit the search initially to
US-based institutes/centers. I realize this is probably a very large group,
but I would like to get a handle on the diversity of institutes already in
existence and how they are functioning. If you know of such a database, or
where I could get this kind of information, please send responses to:
