FACULTY POSITION IN ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

Teach: ecology, horticulture, environmental policy,
evolutionary theory, deep ecology, etc.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Agroecology or related field,
graduate study in supporting areas a plus; interdisciplinary
perspective; demonstrated effectiveness with experiential,
innovative, provocative, and accessible college teaching;
curriculum development; administrative experience and
skills; and demonstrated commitment to contemplative.

The Naropa Institute is a Buddhist-inspired, non-sectarian,
accredited college offering the B.A. in Environmental Studies
and a new M.A. in Environmental Leadership. We follow a
contemplative educational model, emphasizing the personal
journey of each student and the cultivation of wisdom,
compassion, and awareness of the present moment.
