ANNOUNCEMENT - WSAA BROWN BAG - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1995

A MODEL PROGRAM FOR ORGANIC AGRICULTURE IN RUSSIA

Natalia Skreebunova, Moscow Agricultural Director, Center for Citizen
Initiatives (CCI) and several others visiting from Russia, as well as
Sylvia and Walter Ehrhardt, Ehrhardt Organic Farm, Maryland, will
speak on an innovative and comprehensive program now being
implemented.

Please join us from 12:30-2 p.m. on Friday, February 3rd to
learn more about this exciting work.

DIRECTIONS TO THE FEBRUARY 3rd MEETING

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association is located at 1800
Massachusetts Avenue, NW, 1/2 block from Dupont Circle Metro Station
(use the South escalator). The meeting will be held downstairs in
Conference Room CC1-2. Please post this notice and/or circulate to
all who may wish to attend. Feel free to bring literature to share.

THE NEXT WSAA BROWN BAG WILL BE FRIDAY, APRIL 7, SAME TIME AND
PLACE. IT WILL FEATURE DR. JOHN B.K. RUTAYUGA OF THE CENTER FOR
NATURAL AND TRADITIONAL MEDICINE, WHO WILL DISCUSS AGRICULT-
URAL POLICIES AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS FOR FOOD SECURITY IN AFRICA.

(There will be no March Brown Bag, as WSAA staff will be in New York at the
UN Commission on Sustainable Development, where progress in implementing
commitments to sustainable agriculture and rural development made by
governments at the Rio Earth Summit is being followed.)
