PROFESSIONALS FROM THROUGHOUT THE WESTERN U.S.
Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming in
conjunction with six other contributing western land grant
univerisities are presenting a teleconference/telecast.
Title: SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE: TRAINING OUR TRAINERS
The teleconference training program received major support from the Western
Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program as
part of its newly-implemented educational training grants program (also
known as the "Chapter 3" effort).
Concept: A telecast during which nationally known speakers will
present perspectives on the concept and application of sustainable
agriculture. An additional panel of qualified parties will critique,
review, and make initial response to the presentations. Between
individual presentations, during the panel discussion, and following
the presentations the viewing audience may call in and actively
interact (on the air) with panel members, presenters, and other
callers. At a later date a telecast will showcase specific
sustainable agriculture projects from the contributing states.
