*UC IPM Computer System.* The University of California
Statewide Integrated Pest Management Project offers free
online access to the UC IPM Computer. This system
provides access to the Pesticide Use Summaries Database,
the UC Pest Management Guidelines Database, the Weather
Database and other IPM-related news and information. To
access the UC IPM computer, contact the Statewide IPM
Project, 2111 Wickson Hall, University of California,
Davis, CA 95616-8621 or call (916) 752-7826. They will
give you an account, password and communications
software for free.(A user manual costs $15.00.) If you
have access to the Internet and your computer has
function key definitions, you may connect with the UC
IPM computer through the Internet: Select or key in
<telnet> with the hostname <UCIPM.UCDAVIS.EDU> or
<128.120.83.1>.
*World Health Organization Library Information System
(WHOLIS).* Maintained by the World Health Organization
(WHO). Allows users to do keyword searches for WHO
publications, periodical articles, technical and policy
documents and joint publications of WHO with other
publishers and international organizations. Often
provides abstracts with bibliography. To access WHOLIS:
(1)Use <gopher> with the hostname <gopher.who.ch>; (2)go
to "WHO's Major Programs"; (3)go to "Library of Health

*Methyl Bromide-Science Update, 1994.* Sustainable
Agriculture, Food and Environment (SAFE). Reviews the
United Nations' Environment Programme's (UNEP) 1994
Scientific Assessment on methyl bromide (MB) and lists
sources of MB. Argues that the UNEP Scientific
Assessment shows that "action on agricultural and
industrial uses of MB would make a significant
contribution to protecting the ozone layer". To order
