You might be interested in contacting a binational non-profit working on
the border of Mexico-US called Los Ninos. They have recently moved their
headquarters to Chula Vista, CA - I don't have the address
unfortunately. They have operated family gardening programs and urban
forestry programs as community development tools for several years in
Tijuana and Mexicali.
