I have an SA producer, or at least one of a few producers in my
county making attempts to be sustainable, who is trying the virtually
unheard of attempt to grow some spring barley (in winter wheat
country) for hog feed. In years gone by he had had success with
Custer Spring Barley but can no longer find a source, and the current
Spring Barley varieties he can find are too late maturing to do him
much good. Does anyone have a source for Custer Spring Barley? If
so could you please forward me name, address, and phone number of
said source. Please send it to my personal address rather than the
