Groups+Sustainable Ag

We are currently preparing a proposal in response to a NCR invitation for
proposals addressing socioeconomic influences on the adoption of sustainable
agriculture. In our proposal we are interested in understanding the roles
different types of farmer groups play in the diffusion of sustainalbe
agricultural technologies and practices.
>We would like to prepare a proposal that covers at least 3 states in the
NCR (e.g., Michigan, and perhaps Iowa and Wisconsin, or Ohio). We are having
some difficulty, however, in tracking down information about smaller farmer
groups in other states. We are specifically interested in getting more
information about groups similar to those in Michigan, such as the
Innovative Farmers of Huron County, the No-till Farmers Club of Clinton
County, etc. We are also interested, of course, in obtaining more
information about the larger groups such as the MI Ag Stewardship Association.
>Does anyone have any suggestsions for searching the internet for SAN
databases or a mail group with which we could post notices, request help, etc.
