I am requesting information, research results (published or unpublished),
direction, or hypotheses, about the nutritive quality of alfalfa hay or feed,
i.e., crude protein, ADF, NDF, relative feed value, etc, on alfalfa grown at
different locations. In New Mexico, the variations in altitude, degree days,
night atmospheric temp., between the northern growing areas and the southern
growing areas are dramatic. The quality of the hay produced between these
areas is also dramatic. Any info reguarding this subject area would be
helpful. Thank you for your attention.
