I am creating a timeline about the history of sustainable agricultural
methods and developments for the magazine Farmer to Farmer. Specific gaps
in this history include:
1. When was the first pheromone used, and what was it used for? (Who
developed it and its name would be helpful too)

2. What was the first commercial fertilizer? (Happened around turn of
century, I believe.)

3. What was the first pesticide to be recognized as harmful? (And when
was it first recognized as such.)
