Hello

I am conducting research to identify the level of home-based businesses
located on farms (ie jam making, crafts, industrial or other types of
fabrication etc) and alternative crop production (ie walnuts, primrose,
etc). The premise is that these types of activities can provide valuable
extra income and employment not to mention the non-monetary benefits of
creativity and sustainable activities. As well, the farm and rural
communities will potentially have a greater base population because of
these activities.

The research focus is attempting to estimate the extent home-based
activities or alternative crop production is taking place in farm
communities. As well, to determine the employment and income potential
these opportunities have. The primary geographic location is southern
Ontario, Canada, but any related research from a North American context
would provide valuable insight into the research area.

I anyone has information or threads related to these topics it would be
appreciated.

Thanks for your consideration. If you wish contact me directly please use
