Good to read your sensible message - and I envy your corn fields - and I
sincerely hope this inhouse battle with Demeter does not do damage to a
very important part of our agricultural scene. No, I'm not BD (too old,
contankerous, and independent I guess), but have close friends who are
(Christoff/Octavia Altemueller) and, with their help, have written about
the system. Because of health problems Christoff recent had to give up
farming but fortunatly some much younger folks have picked up where he left
off. So far as I know we have two BD farms in our valley (Cowichan Valley,
Vancouver Island, Canada) and both are under the Demeter umbrella. I hope
there are more on the way. Best of luck.
