Thanks to all those who responded to my recent inquiry about keynote
speakers. I am happy to report that John Ikerd will be speaking at the
Future of our Food and Farms Summit to be held November 30 and December 1,
2000 at the Valley Forge Hilton near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. All are
welcome to attend, email me if you would like additional information.
Now I have another request! We are going to have several sessions on
genetically modified organisms (GMO's) at the Summit. We are looking for
speakers who can speak to many sides of the issue. Specifically, although it
is a somewhat controversial subject, we are looking for speakers who can
discuss or even debate the various issues surrounding GMO's in an impassive
way with objective, sound reasoning.
Do you know any speakers who would fit the bill?
