Hi all-
I have the opportunity to be a guest on a talk show with our local public station along with someone from our state's certifying agency and Keith Richardson from the USDA to comment on the proposed organic regulations for the states. Since I will be the representative "farmer" and will have a chance to personally speak with the USDA I thought it would be good to get views from other farmers. I have my very own opinionated views on the standards, however I would like to hear from other organic people. I will take a tally and try to address these. I have a feeling from readings on sanet that my opinions and others already expressed are not very different. Are there others that would like to put their 2 cents in privately?
Please send me in as little words possible 1 proposal you disagree with and 1 proposal you find favorable. I can only take them today as I will leave in the early am for the show.
