Organic control of common purslane

Does anyone have any ideas for organic control of purslane? The field in
question is fallow this year, carpeted with purslane, and may go into
potatoes next year. Irrigation is available. Would buckwheat or sudangrass
cover crops help? Maybe someone has experience with this?
