Thanks for the info! I read somewhere a few years ago that 2-4-D was
implicated in cancer in dogs and cats, but (ha, ha) had no connection to the
same cancer in humans.

Also, studies have shown that pets and people track chemicals into the house
where they stay in the carpets for many years because there's no life to break
them down. Those at greatest risk from "carpet" exposure are pets and babies
who have the most contact with floors.
