SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ORGANIC FARM CAMP IN COLORADO
The Wilderness Education Institute (WEI) of Boulder, CO, in a joint effort
with the National Wildlife Federation, announces a new scholarship
program for their environmental learning programs in Colorado and
Washington. Scholarship money exists for both travel and program fees
for 3 camp programs, including WEI's EcoVenture Organic Farm.
EcoVenture integrates teenagers aged 14 to 18 into the daily life of a
working organic farm. EcoVenturers will build a straw bale building,
explore sustainability aspects of food production, hike the foothills of the
Rocky Mountains, and hang out around the campfire to reflect upon their
place in the natural world.
For information about program dates, locations, fees, and scholarships,
contact Rob Alexander of Full Circle Institute in Minneapolis at 612/827-
2682 or Meghan toll-free at 877/628-9692.
