Variation in Mineral Composition of Vegetables
Firman E. Bear, Stephen J. Toth, and Arthur L. Prince

Here is the report, located on Rutgers Cooperative Extension
website, that has been incorrectly mentioned in so many
magazines and newsletters as evidence for better nutrition of
organic produce.
Reprinted from Soil Science Society of America Proceedings 1948,
Volume 13. pp. 380-4, The Soil Science Society of America,
Madison, Wisconsin, 1949.
I am mainly listing it here as an online resource in case it will
be useful to others. I was searching for something else at Rutgers
when I came across this report.
Formatting and loading agriculture bulletins, fact sheets, articles
and proceedings onto the web is also something I'd like to see
happen more often. The land-grant university and USDA bulletins
are a rich source of material on sustainable farming topics.
