Looking for studies on average food quantity which can be produced within sustainable agriculture
Hello
I was working half a year on a biodynamic farm in switzerland and later on i did some months on organic farms. Together with permaculture, i think this farming systems are essential basics for a stustainable global society.
I am active for the WORLD ETHIC FORUM, an international forum for exchange between all kinds of researcher and activists.. focused on ethical sollutions for regions and the globe. Sustainability
in the ecological area is a main part of that.
That is why i suggested as a possible theme for the forum:
"How to support organic farming as global standard to save the family, small group and decentralized farming instead of supporting a chemical/industrial based farming "
So i sent out many letters to all kind of researcher and activists, individuals and organizations... and many where interested, some did posted very interesting messages at the WORLD ETHIC FORUM forum for everyone and some sent me critcs like this:
"On the surface, some things sound great, but we have to face the fact that we have to feed and provide energy (today) for over 6 billion people - in 35 years this will be 12 billion. Organic farming and wind energy just won't get it."
To come to an end of this question... i would ask you if you could let me know, where i can find studies about the average amount of food which can be produced on a piece of land which is farmed with sustainable technics like permaculture, biodynamic and organic.
You are also very much welcomed to send messages to the messageboard at the WORLD ETHIC FORUM forum for everyone at

and to tell about your practical experiences and theoretical ideas.
Thanks for your engagement
