Colleagues,
SARE's annual eight-page national report, the SARE 2000 Highlights, has
just been published by the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN), and is
available in print and on the web. The Highlights features snapshots of
12 recently funded, innovative SARE projects from around the country and
provides information about how to apply for grants.
Please see http://www.sare.org/2000high/
Since 1988, SARE has funded more than 1,600 projects that explore how to
improve farm profits in ways that enhance natural resources and are good
for communities. SARE-funded projects help producers find ways to cut
production costs or add value to farm products at a time when low
commodity prices have brought tough times to farmers across America. SAN
is the national outreach arm of SARE, which is administered by
USDA-CSREES.
