On May 4, 2000, the NIPC received reports indicating that a new,
in-the-wild worm virus identified as LoveLetter or LoveBug is being
propagated globally via e-mail. Users SHOULD NOT open e-mails with the
subject line "ILOVEYOU." and SHOULD immediately delete them. Anti-virus
software vendors are currently working on inoculation software. Please
consult your anti-virus software website for updated information and
inoculations.
