Subject: High schools with farms

I am a Masters in Teaching student in olympia, WA at St. Martin's College.
I am studying to be a high school History, Spanish and/or English as a
Second language teacher. I will be graduating in June 2001.

I have significant experiences working on farms in Thurston County
where I now live. I have a passion for farming and self-sufficient living
skills. I believe that kids can benefit immensely from learning practical
skills. I would like to find a school that includes farm/gardening work
alongside more traditional academic subjects.

I am scheduled to student teach in the Spring of 2001 and would be
incredibly excited to have this experience in a "farm school".

I am hoping that you can help put me in touch with some schools with
working farms, large gardens, animals, etc.

thank you for your help,
Brian Kehoe
