Re: Anyone planted beets into hariy vetch and rye no-till?
We have done tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, and squash very successfully using the Steve Groff/Ron Morse system of no-till, but with absolutely no herbicides ever. We are wondering about beets, which we've ususally planted early spring, but of course we couldn't plant til the end of May or early June in order to wait for the rye and vetch to be far enough along to roll down.
I would really appreciate any feedback regarding experience in this area!
