"Imitator Injury Advertising" False Claim?

Did anybody else see the "Roundup Ultra" commercial on "Imitator Injury"?
(If you live in the midwest, you can't avoid them.)

What caught my attention was the claim made by Monsanto. They were warning
farmers that they might get "Imitator Injury" if they used a generic
herbicide equivalent on their soybeans. They showed a picture of a badly
burned soybean plant implying that this is what will happen to your beans
unless you use their herbicide.

Under the picture there in tiny letter almost too small to see on my 25
inch Sony, was something about "developmental trials" but it was not on the
screen long enough to read it.

Anybody out there with better eyes than mine? Mike Miller
