Douglas start with a good cultivars u know a sweet big pup. plant the pup
in a pot using the mycorrhizae and organic soil
when it roots compare roots with control non mycorrhizae pot and I think u
can see the different whiteness in the roots and u can see if the
mycorrhizae
works with pineapples. if it works maybe u can just inoculate the pups
when u 1st put them in the ground. Once they are infected I think u got it
knocked. they will be infected the whole two years. that's my
understanding I'm sure there are folks on this list that might clean it up a
bit but I think if u can infect the pup just by throwing a little fo fo dust
mycorrhizae in the hole it may help. I wish they had this stuff when I was
1st planting. . I would have use it in every hole it is so easy to use
and good luck we need organic pineapples. a lot of folks juice the whole
pine skin and all and a organic pineapple would be a God send. I got a pup
once from a good pineapple it was one of our expermental ones from some
University and started with 3 pups and the next year I have about 12 going
but it got too much those plants are wide but boy if u start with a good pup
they love organic soil I raised them a whole two year in pots of organic
soil and got lots of pups suckers and the fruit was so good. start with a
good cultivars . it is hard to find a good organic pineapple. I see the
overnight from dole not organic pineapples all the time so I know a over
night sweet bush ripen organic pineapples would find a market anywhere. u
lucky guy Douglas .
