Hi folks,
Can anyone tell me where to find references on the effects of various
colors of light on poultry? I've heard from several sources that
industrial-scale chicken factories find that blue and green lighting makes
the birds calmer. I need a few journal references...
Remember, I work in a fish hatchery? The young stages of our fish are
quite cannibalistic and downright anti-social. My thesis project will
compare behavior in fish grown under different colors of light. I'd sure
like to know what works on other animals before I set up my experiment.
I don't know many nozzel-heads I can ask. I'm sure one of you must!
Thanks,
Fred
