>Responsibilities:

>-Provide overall strategic leadership and vision to the Campaign
>-Foster development of the Campaign's issue agenda with its organizations and

>-Nurture and strengthen an extensive network of organizations, fostering
>understanding and collaboration
>-Provide overall program and fiscal management, including grant reporting

>developing a dues-paying membership through direct mail, and other means to

>-Guide a communications strategy and serve as a media spokesperson

>-Proven coalition-building skills; ability to work collaboratively with
>diverse constituencies and inspire action
>-Demonstrated leadership ability, and ability to support the leadership of

>-Strong capacity for strategic and analytical thinking
>-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
>-Commitment to the mission of the Campaign
>-Experience with legislative advocacy, especially working with grassroots

>-Successful fundraising track record
>-Ability to build an organization and take it to a higher level

>Compensation: $42,500-50,000 (Depending on Experience) plus comprehensive
>benefits package, including full family health coverage. Full-time position.

>Bush, NY (a rural community in the Hudson River Valley, 75 miles from
>metropolitan NY). However, candidates unable to relocate will also be
