Abstract
"This publication is written both for individuals with lawns
and for professional golf course superintendents. Emphasis
is placed on management practices that enhance soil
fertility, thus decreasing the need for "rescue" efforts.
Cultural practices (using correct fertilization, applying
compost, irrigating properly, choosing the right grass
variety, and mowing appropriately) are discussed, as well as
least-toxic controls for insects, diseases, and weeds."
